The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA might be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed concerning the significant number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The support place made for intervention activities a significant influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more sources to enable the servicing of all prospects and raise use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
